I have been very fortunate to have been in the business of my passion....AUTOMOBILES !   I grew up in the Washington D.C. and New Jersey metro area and attended college in Detroit and Pennsylvania and graduated with a BS Marketing degree in 1965.                                            
I immediately moved to California and after five years with Shell Oil Marketing, I purchased a Shell station in Laguna Hills, CA. Over the next  34 years I had seven different stations, car washes, and smog shops with Shell, Union 76, Chevron and  my own independent garages. During this time I fell in love with old cars from the 40’s thru the 60’s and bought, restored and showed many of these cars, especially Corvettes. My real love of “ROAD RACING” started at Lime Rock in October 1958 when I helped a high school class mate crew on the Volvo team. There is no better motor-sports event than a weekend where you are behind  the wheel of your “ original race car” for 3 or 4 hours DRIVING your car, not just polishing it. 

I have been very fortunate to meet great people in the hobby and help share my passion with them. I helped Steve Earle with the Monterey Historics in 1987 and 2002 when Chevrolet was the honor marque featuring Corvettes. 

In 2007 I helped BLOOMINGTON GOLD’S Bill Locke with their ''Special Collection'' 50 years of 1957 Corvette display and in 2009, I assisted CORVETTES AT CARLISLE with the “Racers Reunion” that special friend Chip Miller started in 1999.

I found my race Corvette car in 1985, and restored and vintage raced it from 1988 thru 1994. Author TOM COTTER from North Carolina owns and races it today. I had more fun with this car than many of my street owned cars. 

My 64 B/P Fuel Injection race car that was raced since 1965
