When buying, What do I look for?

When buying a vintage Corvette, you need to focus on so many things, that the search can be overwhelming

Books can be a great resource to learn the differences in the models. People often get very confused why one model is so much more expensive than others.

Frame condition is so important to the car. It is often never properly inspected, and just look at the difference in these two !

Undamaged Body is also very important. Note the body seams on this nice 63 coupe that has its raw body exposed. Understanding how these cars were built new, will save you from making purchase errors. Pretty paint hides many sins of damage on these 50 plus year old cars.

The key is to go slow in your search, and get educated as you look. Swap Meets and shows display many choices, but be aware. There are a lot of Sharks out there, and I don’t mean Stingrays !!
