The distributor appears to be be a 070 unit, but the ID plate has had its numbers ground off. When new, the car was GLEN GREEN with WHITE / BLACK VINYL interior.Trim tag is G5 (Feb 5, 1965) 65 467, S2908 body,TRIM 437BA white / black vinyl with ‘BA’ no restrictions as to options, 900GG (Glen Green) Paint LOOK at the engine stamp which is F0113HG and appears ORIGINAL. The ORIGINAL transmission is the close ratio M-20 with main case casting #3851325, and date stamped P0202 (Muncie , Feb 2, 65) with serial vin code S108954 stamped on the case. The tail shaft number is 3857584 (after 2-65) correct original. The ORIGINAL differential is stamped AQ 1 27 65 which is 4:56 ratio, and assembled Jan 27, 1965. Car currently has a 3844461 aluminum intake GM manifold which is a Chevrolet and Chevelle 1965 unit for 350hp and 365hp engines. Carburator is a Holley List 6919 ?? need to reinspect Car was bought new in South Bend, Indiana. Current 3rd owner bought the car in 1986 and moved to Henderson, Nevada in 2002. 2nd owner John Spangnola in South Bend is being called for more history. All three owners worked for Bendix (Honeywell ) plant in South Bend. Options include AM/FM, Power brakes, power windows, two tops, fuel injection, 4:56 positraction. The original flat hood also goes with. Car currently has headers and original exhaust manifolds are gone. Engine has never been apart and still is 11;00 to 1 solid lifter setup. No air cleaner, no s-tube, and no front bumpers. A classic car appraiser inspected the car on 9-23-08, and valued it at $40000.

This 1974 Pontiac Trans-Am IS ONE OF ONLY 4648 MADE WITH THE 455 “Y” 250hp ENGINE. The car was parked in 1984 under 2nd owners care.
